Privacy Policy Information

Section One: Introduction:

Sharing and exploration of AI-related content, such as articles, studies, reports, videos, and podcasts. The platform seeks to engage its audience through up-to-data, interactive content, and building a community around the growth and application of AI technologies. ThakAI will serve 2 main personas (1) readers and (2) contributors.

Readers will be able to sign up to ThakAI to read and interact with the content on the platform to learn more about the latest trends and news in AI.

Contributors, such as experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of AI, will be able to sign up to ThakAI to publish articles, reports, publications, and videos related to AI.

Section Two: Collected Data and Collecting Purpose:

First, personal data to be collected: The data to be collected shall be fully explained, and the minimum amount of data will be compiled to achieve the purpose of the website/application. The following personal data are collected:

Second, the purpose of collecting personal data: Personal data are collected for the following purposes:

1- Enable the sign-up process for all users
2- Verify the authenticity of contributors when they sign up to the platform
3- Simplify profile completion for contributors

Section Three: Data Collection Methods:

The method of collecting personal data (directly from the personal data Subject, from other entities, or both) is defined. In case of collecting any personal data from other entities, clarification shall be made on what data are collected and where from. The data are provided by the Subject of the personal data on the website through registration. No personal data are collected from any other entities.

Section Four: Use of Personal Data:

We use personal data collected directly or indirectly as follows:

1- Personal data are only stored/hosted in the Authority’s servers
2- Personal data are used to complete the registration process and improve the contributors’ sign-up experience.
3- The provided information from participants is automatically translated by OpenAI to maximize the benefit from the content in both Arabic and English.

Section Five: Legal Basis for Collecting and Processing Personal Data:

Explains the legal basis for collecting and processing data in accordance with the policies of national data governance and relevant regulations. The consent of the personal data Subject. The Subject can withdraw the consent at any time, unless there is another legal basis, by contacting info@icaire.org

Section Six: Rights of the Personal Data Subject:

– Right to know: The Subject of personal data has the right to know how we collect their data, the legal basis for collecting and processing data, how data are processed, stored and destroyed, and with whom the data will be shared. You can browse all the details through the privacy policy (this policy) or you can contact us using the means of communication described in Section Nine.

– Right to request access to personal data: The Subject of personal data has the right to request a copy of their personal data by means of the email described in section 9. It will be, free of charge, within seven business days, through email.

– The subject of personal data has the right to access their personal data at disposal of the Controller.

– Right to have personal data corrected: The Subject of personal data has the right to request the correction of their personal data that they consider inaccurate, incorrect or incomplete by email. The request will be reviewed and updated within seven business days. The personal data Subject will be notified of this through email.

– Right to destroy personal data: The Subject of personal data has the right to request the destruction of their personal data in certain circumstances.

– Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data: The Subject of personal data can withdraw consent to the processing of their personal data (at any time) unless legitimate purposes entail otherwise.

Section Seven: Share/Exchange of Personal Data:

There is no sharing or exchange of personal data collected through the ThakAI with third parties.

The Subject of personal data has the right to request access/correction/destruction of their data by contacting the following info@icaire.org

In the event of some complaints or inquiries related to the privacy policy or the handling of personal data, the ThakAI administration can be contacted via the following email info@icaire.org. A response will be received within seven business days.

Section Eleven: Privacy Policy Updates:

– The privacy policy was last updated on 15 May 2025. – The ThakAI administration reserves the right to add or change any of the provisions of the privacy policy. ThakAI will notify the data Subject of this. The website administration has the right to terminate the data Subject’s account if they do not accept any change in the privacy policy.

– Arabic is the language used to apply the Privacy Policy. If there is a dispute in the interpretation of any text in another language, the Arabic text shall prevail.
